I was driving past the Miri Indoor Stadium this morning when I saw the huge number of cars parked around the stadium. Curiosity got hold of me and I parked my car at the swimming pool car park.
When I approached the stadium, I realised that the Borneo Autoshow And Gathering Festival 2015 was being held in the car park areas of the stadium. There were stalls selling food and refreshment and I even saw a hair salon doing business there.
The two-day event, organised by the Miri Autoshow Event (MAE), ends today. There are 500 car owners from Sarawak, Sabah, Labuan and Brunei participating in the festival, including a group of 300 Perodua Viva owners from Kuching and Sabah.
I am not a car enthusiast so I am not conversant in writing about cars. I will just let the photos do the talking.
And I saw some pretty cool sport rims on some of the cars. You can see a very tiny me in the sport rim with a mirror-like surface.
These guys attracted a lot of curious stares as they rode in their 3-wheel bikes of some sort.
