Coronavirus has caused worldwide pandemonium, leading to panic, stress and anxiety. Here in Malaysia, the Movement Control Order has forced us to adapt to a new way of life, making us stay at home. Amidst all the panic and anxiety, social media has been providing comic relief to help us cope better.
People getting restless and stressed after being confined to their homes have sought comic relief through various memes and social media. The Internet has exploded with a wealth of hilarious posts to counter the stress that many are feeling. And musicians have come up with parodies of songs about corona. The following parody of Bee Gees’ Staying Alive is starting to go viral.
So if you’re feeling stressed being stuck at home, turn to social media for your daily doses of comic relief!
