Thirty nine years have gone by
Since I bade you goodbye
But memories of you linger strong
Though our time together did not last long.
With you I spent two and a quarter years
That left an indelible memory I hold so dear
You instilled in me a desire to learn
And that respect is something I need to earn.
A truly cosmopolitan institution you really are
With students from Canada and afar
Montreal being a French city
The student population boasted lots of French beauties.
Sir George Williams Campus I hope to revisit
In the midst of Montreal City you sit
Your sister Layola is located in the outskirts of the city
A lush campus that exudes an endearing beauty.
Studying in the library till the wee hours of the night
I was often amazed by the sight
Of the overwhelming number of people with black hair
I guessed the Caucasians had all call it a day.
You gave me the rare chance to hear Ralph Nader speak
A fiery speech by a consumer advocate at his peak.
You gave me the rare chance to see a top hypnotist in action
A performance that held me in a stunned reaction.
I have fond memories of my Vietnamese friends Lan and Mai
As well as the Malaysian and Singaporean friends of mine
Life was fun with friends like them
But all good things came to an end.
Oh Concordia I do miss you a lot
You are often in my thought
I wonder whether I will ever see you again
Let not my longing be in vain.
