Today is Day 28 of the MCO. I was in my car on the way to buy breakfast at a coffeeshop not far from my house in Senadin when I saw this lovely yellow wagtail on the roadside not far from one of the security pondoks in our gated community.
The yellow wagtail is a small, graceful, yellow and green bird, with a medium-length tail and slender black legs. It is a ground feeder, foraging by walking or running on short grass to prey on insects. It is commonly found in open areas, paddy fields, gardens, grassland and roadsides. As its name implies, it wags its tail up and down from time to time.
I have never photographed a yellow wagtail before so I was thrilled to be able to capture so many photos of it. You really made my day! Thank you, little bird!
