The unique flavours at Sun City Cafe offer a welcome change to the local dining experience. If you want to have a great Indian food experience, drop by the cafe in Centre Point Miri. It is located in the same row of shophouses as Standard Chartered Bank.
It is a very basic joint with air-conditioning but hardly any décor. If you wish to smoke, there are a few tables on the five foot way.
I have been here several times and I find the food really nice. They have quite an extensive menu and their prices are quite reasonable. Their food reminds me of the classier Zaika—without the price tag.
Three days ago, my son and I had our dinner there. We ordered butter nan, bhindi masala (lady finger masala), palak paneer (spinach with tofu) and butter chicken masala. Needless to say, we enjoyed the dinner!
On previous occasions, we had tried their roti canai. I did not quite like their roti canai as it was not even faintly crispy. But this is my personal opinion. Some of you may like the texture of their roti canai. Oh yes, on the plus side, their roti canai comes with two types of gravy.
