We read about the opening of Santino’s Pizza in Facebook and in the Borneo Post and we decided to drop in this evening for our dinner. It is easy to find the place as it is located in the row of shophouse between Pullman Hotels and The Wharf.
The outlet is very clean and has a nice ambiance. The staff who took our order was pleasant and helpful.
We ordered a small New York Deli, a small Hawaiian Special, a Seafood Portofino and a Chicken Strombolli. For drinks, we ordered a black coffee, a soya bean milk and a chrysanthemum tea.
The New York Deli is a pizza with pepperoni, salami, spicy Italian sausage, turkey ham and ground beef topped with mozzarella cheese. It tasted nice but we found it a tad too salty. If the saltiness can be toned down a bit, it would be perfect.
The Hawaiian Special pizza comes with turkey ham, smoked turkey bacon, pineapple, cheddar, mozzarella cheese and a special pizza sauce. It was good.
We also loved the seafood portofino and the chicken strombolli. Yummy!
Our bill came up to RM88.88 inclusive of a 10% service charge but without any GST.
Would I go back to Santino’s Pizza again? Definitely! And our visits to Pizza Hut will be less frequent from now on.
Bon appétit!
