Peanut butter. Yes, this post is about peanut butter. To be precise, it is about Jobbie peanut butter.

I was at home this afternoon when Ninja Van delivered a packet addressed to my son. It was later in the evening that my son told us the packet contained six bottles of Jobbie Chunky Peanut Butter (380 grams). My wife and I were puzzled as to why my son would specially ordered peanut butter from West Malaysia. He told us he has read great reviews about the Jobbie peanut butter.

After six months of trial and error and from customer feedbacks, they improved their peanut butter and rebranded it as Jobbie Nut Butter on Junew 27 2015.  They began to push sales to café’s, restaurants, retail, etc. Despite their hard work, Jobbie Nut Butter chalked up an abysmal first year with sales of about RM28,000. It was a huge disappointment to say the least.

Jobbie Nut Butter, now with its own factory and office, sells approximately 1,000 to 2,000 bottles monthly, which translate into sales of about RM20,000 to RM40,000.

Joseph and Debbie works hard to ensure that their peanut butter are of high quality and the texture, aroma and flavour of their nut butters cater to the Malaysian taste using a secret technique to extract most of its natural flavours and sweetness from within the peanut itself.
