Evan van der Spuy, a mountain biker of Team Jeep South Africa, was knocked off from his bike after being mown down by a charging antelope in an incredible video that has gone viral, garnering almost 2 million views since it was posted on YouTube yesterday.
Evan was taking part in a mountain bike race across South Africa’s Albert Falls Dam and Game Reserve when he was struck by the rampaging antelope — a red hartebeest, weighing up to 330lb.

The impact and fall shattered his helmet — but luckily Evan escaped unhurt.
Travis Walker, Evan’s ‘Team Jeep’ colleague— who captured the incident on his GoPro camera — can be heard shouting “Watch the buck!” just seconds before the animal ploughed into Evan.
The video footage has catapulted Evan to fame, so in a way, it was worth it!
It has also landed him with a new nickname and Twitter hashtag “#BUCKNORRIS!”.
