“Chocoholic”, a black pug from Japan, looks set to be the next internet sensation, with over 70,000 YouTube users viewing the video of him playing the keyboard since the video was uploaded to YouTube on October 9.
The pooch, dressed in a sparkly bow tie and a red top, uses his paws to create a ‘melody ‘ on a child’s keyboard.
Resting his head on the keyboard, he looks like he has had enough by the end of the 58-second clip.
“Chocoholic” is Japan’s answer to Charlie Schmidt’s Keyboard Cat, the ginger cat called Fatso who shot to fame in 2007 when 1984 footage of Charlie Schmidt’s furry feline was re-used by Brad O’Farrell and became an internet hit.
Fatso, wearing a blue tee-shirt, played an upbeat rhythm on an electronic keyboard — although reality Charlie is manipulating his paws under the top.
The original video has been viewed by more than 19million YouTube users and has spawned thousands of spinoffs.
