Election fever is in the air, everywhere I look around

Election fever is in the air, every sight and every sound

But I don’t know why there’re so many candidates

Some of them will lose their deposits as a matter of fact

They’re there to make up the numbers

Caught up in the more-the-merrier fever

 

Election fever is in the air, in the video campaigns on Facebook

I am filled with a little panic

About going to vote with the ongoing pandemic

But it’s a duty I must fulfill

And no one can force me to go against my will

And there won’t be any ceramahs

And Sarawakians are spoilt for choice

To choose the best candidate who can voice

Their aspirations and their hopes
