Malaysian Toilets

Malaysia reputedly has the worst toilets in the world,

With stench emanating well beyond the toilet walls,

Disgusting, stinky, dirty and hideous,

The mere thought of them makes many nauseous.

 

Toilet floors are often so wet,

Wet feet is what you get,

When you think about the nature of the water,

Getting out is all that matters.

 

When you are about to sit on the toilet seat,

Shoe marks and urine stains make you beat a hasty retreat,

Errors in judgement when others have taken a leak,

Remaining in the toilet is truly a feat.

 

Malaysians have a problem with their attitude,

Especially when they shoot from an altitude,

With their aims going astray,

The toilet is littered with a stinky spray.

 

Many public toilets charge an entrance fee,

Just to let you release your pee,

That is fine and acceptable,

As long as they keep the toilets respectable.

 

Many press the toilet flusher with their feet,

That’s hardly a surprising deed,

The flusher handle may be contaminated with fecal bacteria,

Nobody wishes to get diarrhea.

 

It’s time for us to clean up the act in the toilet,

Every Malaysian should take up the gauntlet,

Discard our apathy and indifference,

A clean toilet culture must be abided to with adherence.
