A mysterious Malaysian businessman has reportedly splashed out a massive £3 billion (US $4.8 billion) on a gold and platinum yacht hailed as the most expensive in the world.
The yacht, named History Supreme, was created by renowned luxury goods designer Stuart Hughes and is made of 100,000 kilograms of solid gold and platinum and took over three years to be completed.
The 100ft craft has a solid gold anchor, sleeping quarters covered in platinum, a wall feature made from meteoric stone and and a statue made from a genuine Tyrannosaurus Rex bone.
According to a comment made by a reader on this story in the Malaysia Insider, ‘Malaysia is a place where gold floats and submarines don’t submerge. Where it is okay to threaten to burn a (PKR) building down, but is an offence to wear a (Bersih) T-shirt calling for fair action. This just adds to the list of incredible news about Malaysia, where nothing is impossible, and everything looks like and sounds like what they seem, but is always a mirage.’
Now I have a question for you. If this story is genuine, who is this mysterious Malaysian owner?
